Meet Angelyn

I’m Angelyn, the spirited founder of Urbane Glamping and a self-proclaimed novice glamper. “I didn’t choose this life, the glamping life chose me,” I often say with a smile.

My glamping journey began Labor Day Weekend 2023, all thanks to a dear friend who convinced me to join an adult camping experience right here in the Chicago area. From the moment I set up myr first tent – affectionately known as The Compound – I was hooked. I went all out, creating a cozy, stylish retreat that set the tone for every glamping adventure since.

While I love (ok maybe appreciate) the great outdoors, Chicago’s unpredictable weather means you’ll most likely find me glamping in the warmer months. Cold weather? No, thank you! I believe glamping should be an enjoyable, comfortable experience without freezing temperatures getting in the way.
